Our hotel is the relexa hotel in Bad Salzdetfurth, Germany, about 50 kilometres south of Hannover. The relexa is a four star hotel with a swimming pool, sauna, bowling and a bicycle lending service. The use of these facilities is included in the room price – so don’t forget your swimming togs!
The rooms themselves are air conditioned, disability friendly and have a telephone as well as a fax and PC-connection plug. Furthermore, you can of course find a shower, toilet, hairdryer, makeup mirror, radio, cable TV, mini bar and a writing desk in your rooms. Some rooms also have a balcony.
The ‘Spring Festival of Filk Music’ gives you the chance to stay in the relexa hotel at reduced room rates –-if you are booking your room directly with the hotel and want to make use of the reduced convention prices (available Fr-Mo nights), please make sure to mention the booking code “DFDF Event 2011″ when booking your room! This way, you will also be exempt from paying visitor’s tax.
Room prices
The hotel consists of two buildings and thus offers two types of rooms – the ‘economy rooms’ offer no mini fridge (a complimentary fridge is available at reception) and are slightly smaller, but all other amenities are the same, and you can choose which type of room to stay in:

We have a room block that closes a few weeks before the con – namely, on May 14th- after that, rooms will become available to non-convention attendees for booking again, so, once you’ve decided to attend the convention (yay!), please make sure to book your room early – but definitely before (exact date will follow) – and please mention “DFDF Event 2013″!
